BUSINESS TERMS

 

UK customers: Pre-payment can be made by cheque (payable to Tony Peterson) or bank transfer. Paypal is also possible for smaller orders, and of course cash or postal orders are welcome.

Non-UK customers: Pre-payment is preferred by bank transfer, Paypal, or Wise, Postal Money Order, or cash for small amounts.

Postage costs: Postage is charged at cost. Books are usually sent by second class post (unless first requested) or courier service if over 2kg. For non-UK orders the royal mail airmail printed paper service is used, unless over 2kg in which case I will usually quote a courier service such as UPS or Hermes.

All books can be returned for a full refund if found to be not as described.

 

ABBREVIATIONS USED

 

                                                All books are hardback, bound in publisher’s original cloth, published in London, with descriptive notation, unless otherwise stated. Minor previous owner inscriptions on front endpaper are not mentioned (unless well-known!)

 

                                                F – Fine condition, almost as new.

                                                VG – Very good condition, just showing small signs of wear or use. 

                                                G – Good or average condition, showing general signs of wear or use.

                                                d/w – dust-wrapper (dust-jacket). This is always mentioned if present.

                                                p/b – paperback or modern flexi-cover binding.

                                                o/w – otherwise. 

                                                n.d. – no publication date, but if known it is given in brackets.

                                                Edn. – Edition.

                                                Repr. – Reprint.

                                                impr. – impression.

                                                pp. – number of pages.
